Portfolio of Past Projects
Control4 Smart Home in Northwood, Greater London
This project started as another rescue job to bring a partially finished Control4 system to full functionality. This system incorporates wireless Control4 lighting, wirelessly controlled window blinds, bespoke polished brass keypad faceplates and two surround sound systems. One of which can be found in the master suite along with a dropdown screen and HD projector. The main media room features Bowers & Wilkins speakers powered by a NAD receiver.

Smart Security & Lighting in Penshurst, Kent
This system incorporates more than a dozen AI-powered CCTV cameras, dual internet connections, WiFi throughout every building and outdoor space and floodlights controlled by a Control4 system that monitor smart alerts from the cameras to light up specific areas.
4K UHD Home Cinema Upgrade in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire
While this project started as a rescue job to get an incomplete system up and running, the majority of the AV equipment that was specified was a little outdated for modern entertainment. Out with the old to make way for a Sony Native 4K projector, Denon 4K-capable AV receiver and 4K video distribution from HDAnywhere. It is all controlled by a Control4 system and Neeo remote.

Smart Home in Richmond, London
What started as a media room conversion in the basement, featuring Control4 audio-visual control, 5.1 surround sound and Control4 smart lighting developed into a whole-home automation system that included 2 video intercoms connected to 5 touch panel interfaces, music in every room (and the garden), heating integration and a small cinema-room style lounge in the master bedroom with a 5.1 surround system.
Smart home in St. James, London
Short of knocking down the external walls, this project was a complete strip down and rebuild renovation of a central London townhouse. Once the childhood home of Sir Winston Churchill, today it features a modern video doorbell connected to a Control4 touch panel interface on each floor, music in every living space (and the gym), invisible plaster-in ceiling speakers in 3 rooms and a 5.1 surround system in the basement TV room. All of which is overseen by a Control4 system which also integrates with the heating, air-conditioning, ventilation and security systems.

Party Barn in Tonbridge, Kent
The brief was simple: convert a cavernous 18ft x 36ft 17th century barn into an entertainment space that will cater to movie nights for the whole family and doubles up as the ultimate birthday party space. It features a 7.1 surround system, a 140″ inch projection screen and a 4K projector fed with an UHD Blu-ray player, 4K Apple TV and Playstation 4.
Living Room Upgrade in Chiswick, London
This simple living room entertainment system features a wireless Atmos-capable surround sound system and a 65″ wall-mounted TV. Video is fed from a 4K set-top box and smart TV apps.

Games Room in Tonbridge, Kent
The specification for this project was to squeeze maximum sound into a small space. The room measures approximately 8ft x 10ft and features a 7.1 surround system and 65″ UHD TV fed by a 4K Apple TV and Playstation 5. A Blu-ray player has since also been integrated, all controlled by a Control4 single room system.
Home Cinema Upgrades in Hildenborough, Kent
This ageing HD-only home cinema system required some modern upgrades in the form of 4K video and Dolby Atmos surround sound. It features a 55″ UHD TV for day-to-day watching with an electric drop-down 110″ acoustically transparent projection screen for movie nights. Surround sound comes in the form of a 7.2.6 Atmos-capable configuration. For entertainment, there is an UHD Blu-ray player, Kaleidescape movie player and Sky Q UHD set-top box. The entire system is controlled by the new Control4 Halo remote.

4K Home Cinema Upgrade in Sevenoaks, Kent
This smart home in Sevenoaks has 10 zones of video, all receiving HD quality video from various sources. The decision was made to split the cinema room from the rest with its own selection of 4K UHD video sources and a laser projector. Entertainment is provided by a Sky Q UHD set-top box, 4K Apple TV and a Kaleidescape movie player. Sound is delivered through a 5.1.2 Atmos-capable system.
Private Bar in Nutfield, Surrey
The Lockdown Arms, established during the Covid-19 pandemic features 3 video zones, 3 audio zones, lighting control and a whole host of automation that connects to the rest of the house. This project was an expansion of an existing smart home installation with every bell and whistle imaginable. One of the 3 video zones is outdoor, as is 2 of the 3 audio zones. Likewise, the Control4 lighting extends in and out. Video is delivered by a host of Sky Q set-top boxes, Apple TVs, IP TV boxes and a Blu-ray player all connected through an array of video splitters and matrices so that all video sources are available in all of the 8 video zones.

Control4 Smart Home Upgrade in Chipstead, Surrey
An ageing and unsupported Savant audio-visual control system was removed to make way for a modern Control4 system and some WiFi6 networking upgrades. Another upgrade was changing the HD video matrix for a 4K equivalent to provide UHD video to the 6 televisions around the house. An existing Lutron lighting system is also integrated for advanced scene control via the Control4 app.
Outdoor Speaker System in Orpington, Greater London
This small project had one main requirement: high quality sound. Simple. A pair of Definitive Technology all weather speakers driven by a digital stereo amplifier capable of producing in excess of 300 watts of audio power all linked to an outdoor Bluetooth receiver makes for the ultimate garden party system. The DT speakers were chosen specifically for their acoustic range and output power as the garden stretches over 50 metres away and these speakers do not disappoint.
